Our fleet is centred on our 4 x Damen 3307 Axebow security escort vessels (SEVs). These are fast and reliable with ballistic protection, modern communication systems, full radar and AIS capabilities. They are properly maintained with electronic fuel metering systems (EFMS) and kept within class (Bureau Veritas).
To meet the requirements of the Nigerian Navy all vessels are:
Nigerian-flagged
Correctly registered and licensed, audited and approved for Security Duties by the Nigerian Navy
Capable of maintaining 12 knots with a maximum of 25 knots available and a range of 5,000nm
Transiting to the limits of the Nigerian EEZ at 200nm offshore is well within their capability
MAST’s local team can provide an entire security journey management package for visitors to Nigeria across all regions. Working closely with local law enforcement and the authorities all aspects of travel management are included from arrival at the airport to transfers to the visitor’s destination and subsequent movement around the country.

Oscar is a retired senior Nigerian Naval officer having earned his Nigerian Navy Presidential commission in 1988. He specialized in Above-Water and Anti-Air Warfare, sub-specialized in Intelligence and a Counter-Terrorism fellow after graduating from the George C Marshall Institute for International and Security Studies, Germany. He has a Post Graduate Diploma in Shipping Management, Masters Degree in Transport Management and graduated with Distinction in Defence and Strategic Studies from the National Defence University, Beijing, China. He is a certified Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) and an EDC Alumni of the Pan-Atlantic University, Lagos. He served as General Staff Officer 1 to Nigeria’s Minister of Defence, Commander, Nigerian Navy Intelligence Annex, Apapa and Command Ashore & Sea Training Officer at the Naval Training Command from where he retired honourably in 2016.

Henry is a practising lawyer and partner of Solola & Akpana, a law firm based in Lagos, Port Harcourt and Abuja. Aside from being a distinguished lawyer Henry provides strategic advice and compliance support in relation to all of MAST’s commercial operations in Nigeria.
His professional affiliations include the Nigerian Bar Association and the International Bar Association.
He holds a Masters Degree in Law (LL.M) & Technology and a Bachelors Degree in Law (LL.B) from the Rivers State University of Science & Technology and also attended Nigerian Law School (B.L) prior to qualifying as a lawyer.
Elias provides operational and security advice in support of MAST’s offshore security service.
Elias served for 20 years in the Nigerian Navy specialising in Underwater Warfare with a sub-specialisation as a Naval Police Officer. He retired as a Lt Commander and has since applied his extensive maritime security experience to a civilian role working in the Oil and Gas Industry for a leading international group.
A Certified Security Management Professional (CSMP®), a Member of the International Security Management Institute (M.ISMI), ASIS, a Certified Security Professional (CSyP), and an MSC, Security and Risk Management student of a leading University in the UK.
Phil-Ashiri Olisa is a practising lawyer and has over 30 years of post-call experience providing Legal Services to a plethora of both local and foreign clients.
His local knowledge in handling environmental cases in the Niger Delta and his wider oil and gas experience make him ideally suited to support MAST’s legal compliance and governance.
He is a member of the Nigeria Bar Association and holds a law degree from the Rivers State University of Science and Technology in Port Harcourt.
